Six specifications.
Zero exceptions.
The minimum standard that defines every MONTARE piece. Not aspirational targets. Not marketing language. The floor, not the ceiling. Every stone, every setting, every time.
What defines a MONTARE diamond
Six non-negotiable specifications. Every stone must meet all six before it enters the MONTARE collection.
The two highest colour grades. Colourless to the most trained eye. No warmth, no compromise. Faces up perfectly white in any metal, under any light.
VVS1 and VVS2 only. Inclusions invisible to the naked eye and nearly impossible to detect even under 10x magnification. Flawless light performance.
Triple Excellent in cut, polish, and symmetry. Represents less than 3% of all graded diamonds. Maximum light return at every angle.
The size where our standard produces a visually distinct result. Where presence matches quality and the difference between good and exceptional is unmistakable.
Every shape has a proportion range where it looks its best. We select only stones that fall within ideal length-to-width ratios. No stones that look too narrow, too wide, or off-balance.
Table and depth percentages that directly affect light return and visual presence. Outside the ideal range, a diamond leaks light or appears smaller than its carat weight suggests.
Experience, not marketing
These standards were not chosen by a marketing team. They were established after more than 30 years of handling diamonds daily, studying how light behaves across thousands of stones, and understanding what separates a diamond that simply looks good on paper from one that is genuinely exceptional in person.
Every specification exists because it makes a measurable difference to the visual result. D/E colour ensures the stone faces up white regardless of setting metal. VVS clarity eliminates any interference with light performance. Triple Excellent cut maximises the return of light to the eye. And the proportion standards ensure that each shape performs at its visual peak.
“Below this line, you are making trade-offs. Above it, you are getting what a diamond should be.”
This is not about exclusivity for its own sake. It is about the point where quality becomes visible to anyone, where the diamond performs exactly as a diamond should, and where you stop wondering if you made the right choice.
The numbers behind the beauty
Every shape has an optimal range for depth and table percentage. These are the windows where light performance peaks.

| Oval | 58 – 62% | 53 – 63% |
| Pear | 58 – 64% | 57 – 62% |

Certified. Guaranteed. No exceptions.
IGI Certified, Every Stone
Every MONTARE diamond is certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI), one of the world's most respected independent gemological laboratories. Your certificate confirms the exact colour, clarity, cut grade, carat weight, and proportions of your stone. It is not our word. It is verified by an independent authority.
The MONTARE Guarantee
Every stone meets all six specifications before it enters the MONTARE collection. No exceptions. No compromises. No range. If a diamond does not meet every criterion, it does not carry the MONTARE name. This is not a quality tier. It is the only tier. Your ring represents the standard we have spent 30 years defining.
