From your sketch, photo or brief to a finished, set and polished piece. One quote, one point of contact.

Get a quote

  • CAD design

    Your sketch or brief modelled for production and revised until you approve it. Nothing is cast before you sign off.

  • Casting from your CAD

    Send your file (STL or 3DM). Cast in yellow, white or rose gold, platinum or silver, then cleaned up and ready for setting.

  • Stone setting

    All and any kind of setting: prong, claw, bezel, channel, pavé, hidden halo and more, set by hand under magnification.

  • Micro setting

    Micro pavé and fine accent work, set under magnification so every stone sits secure and level.

  • Men’s & women’s bands

    Plain, diamond and eternity bands, from a single band to a full collection.

  • Finishing & rhodium

    Clean-up, hand polishing, rhodium plating and engraving.

  • Laser welding & repairs

    Laser welding, resizing, re-tipping, re-setting loose stones and refinishing for your clients’ pieces.

  • Stone sourcing

    Lab-grown or natural diamonds and gemstones sourced to your spec. Or send us your own stones to set.

  1. Send your enquiry

    Files, sketches or photos, plus the metal, the stones and when you need it.

  2. Get your quote

    Vish quotes the job and the timeline before any work starts.

  3. Approve the CAD

    For new pieces, you sign off on the model before anything is cast.

  4. Cast, set, finish

    Cast from the approved CAD, then set and finished by hand at the bench.

  5. Back to you

    Checked, stamped with your mark or left blank, and shipped back to you.

  • Always cast from the approved CAD, then worked by hand at the bench.
  • Re-cast if it isn’t right. No filling or polishing over a bad casting.
  • No wax setting. Stones are never cast in place. Every stone is set by hand under magnification.
  • No tumble or bulk polishing. Each piece is polished by hand.
  • Your stamp, or none. Montare’s name never goes on your work.
  • No minimums. One piece is as welcome as a production run.

Before you send a job.

Is there a minimum order?

No. Single pieces are welcome, and every job is quoted before any work starts.

How long does a job take?

It depends on the piece and what it needs. You get a timeline with your quote, before you commit to anything.

Can you supply the stones?

Yes. We can source lab-grown or natural diamonds and gemstones to your spec, set the stones you send us, or combine the two.

What kinds of setting do you do?

All and any kind: prong, claw, bezel, channel, pavé, micro setting, hidden halo and more, all set by hand under magnification.

Do you make men’s and women’s bands?

Yes. Plain, diamond and eternity bands for men and women, from a single band to a full collection.

Whose name goes on the piece?

Yours. We stamp your mark or leave it blank. Montare’s name never appears on your work.

Which metals do you work in?

Yellow, white and rose gold in 10K, 14K and 18K, plus platinum and sterling silver. We also do rhodium plating and laser welding.

What files do you accept?

STL or 3DM files are ideal. No CAD yet? Send a sketch or photos and we’ll model it for you.

Where are you, and where do you ship?

Our workshop is in Toronto. We work with jewellers across Canada and ship finished pieces back anywhere in the country.
