The Faux Bezel is a vintage-inspired setting that frames the centre stone in a fine metal surround — the clean silhouette and security of a true bezel, opened just enough to let light reach the diamond from every angle. Milgrain detailing along the frame gives it the quiet character of an heirloom rather than something newly made.
A 2.85 mm band carries a 2.00 mm thickness for everyday durability, while the setting sits at a composed 5.50 mm height — high enough to present the stone, low enough to sit comfortably beside a wedding band. Every proportion is deliberate: structured, balanced, and built to be worn for a lifetime.

What is included in the price?◆
The setting, the centre diamond (lab-grown, IGI-certified), and all side stones. Interior engraving (up to 30 characters), prong refinement, hallmark positioning, and sizing are arranged during your consultation at no separate charge.
Can I customise the setting?◆
Yes — claw count, halo style, side-stone arrangement, basket depth, and prong profile can all be tuned during the consultation. We share renderings before production starts.
Are the diamonds lab-grown or natural?◆
All Montare stones are lab-grown — chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds, IGI-certified, and held to our VVS1–VVS2 clarity and D/E colour standard. Same brilliance, fraction of the impact.
What is the difference between 14k and 18k gold?◆
14k gold (58.3% pure) is harder and more scratch-resistant — ideal for daily wear. 18k gold (75% pure) has a richer colour and slightly higher lustre. Both are excellent for engagement rings.
Is Platinum worth it for a ring?◆
For everyday wear, platinum is the most durable option. It does not fade or require rhodium re-plating like white gold. It is heavier and more expensive due to material density — roughly 40% more metal by weight for the same setting.
How long does production take?◆
2–4 weeks from consultation confirmation. Your ring is crafted to order — not pulled from inventory. We confirm sizing, metal, and centre-stone selection before production begins.
What if I need to resize after delivery?◆
One complimentary resize is included within the first year. Additional resizes are available at cost. Some designs (eternity bands, channel set) cannot be resized due to stone coverage — we will advise during consultation.
