What is included in the price?◆
The setting, the centre diamond (lab-grown, IGI-certified), and all side stones. Interior engraving (up to 30 characters), prong refinement, hallmark positioning, and sizing are arranged during your consultation at no separate charge.
Can I customise the setting?◆
Yes — claw count, halo style, side-stone arrangement, basket depth, and prong profile can all be tuned during the consultation. We share renderings before production starts.
Are the diamonds lab-grown or natural?◆
All Montare stones are lab-grown — chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds, IGI-certified, and held to our VVS1–VVS2 clarity and D/E colour standard. Same brilliance, fraction of the impact.
What is the difference between 14k and 18k gold?◆
14k gold (58.3% pure) is harder and more scratch-resistant — ideal for daily wear. 18k gold (75% pure) has a richer colour and slightly higher lustre. Both are excellent for engagement rings.
Is Platinum worth it for a ring?◆
For everyday wear, platinum is the most durable option. It does not fade or require rhodium re-plating like white gold. It is heavier and more expensive due to material density — roughly 40% more metal by weight for the same setting.
How long does production take?◆
2–4 weeks from consultation confirmation. Your ring is crafted to order — not pulled from inventory. We confirm sizing, metal, and centre-stone selection before production begins.
What if I need to resize after delivery?◆
One complimentary resize is included within the first year. Additional resizes are available at cost. Some designs (eternity bands, channel set) cannot be resized due to stone coverage — we will advise during consultation.
